In 2021, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama recognized him as the reincarnation of the Saint Drolmling Mountain Retreat Bhikshu (fully ordained monk) Yogic Kalzang Rabten.
One of the many early interesting activities young Drolmling often was making gestures and mudras to Tara statues and images. He was barely able to walk when he would mischievously disappear only to be found walking towards yet again the caves again and again.
His grandparents set him off to receive teachings at Sera Jey Monastery University, South of India where he is now continuing his education.
